The AEV Translation of the Bible

The Asharine English Version of the Holy Scriptures (AEV) is a translation that I began late in the evening of the 25th of November, AD 2018, wherein I decided to dedicate my time to translate the Holy Scriptures in a faithful manner to the original understanding of that which was written so long ago.

The Term 'Asharine' is suffixed with '-ine' for it is reflective of Ashari, and 'Ashari' is derived from the two terms 'Asu', meaning dawn, and the light thereof, and 'Ari' meaning God, taken from the Talmarian language. Therefore, in keeping the tradition of Hebrew theophoric naming, Ashari means 'God is my Light'. And for myself, I believe God the Holy Spirit dwells within me and will guide me in my prayerful and faithful translating herein of the Holy Scriptures. I do not hope to seek glory, but rather to use the gifts with which I have a passion for to further and deepen the understanding of the reader, that in this God the Holy Spirit will make us alive in truth, given to us by God the Son of God the Father. For it is the Son who makes known the mysteries of God and it is God the Holy Spirit who leads us into all light. As God is my light, I pray that my translating will produce a faithful, eloquent and more deeply significant English manuscript that reflects the correct terminology of words and there meanings with a focus on word to word translation.

May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob be with us, may the Kingdom of the Messiah increase for all days until the fullness of God's vessels of mercy be reached, to God be the glory! Great things he has done! Amen.
