A New Home

The war has been going on for three years now, both sides ruthless, neither focusing on any sort of goal, other than to destroy the other. The planet is no longer habitable on the surface and everyone has to live underground except those fighting. However, a group of scientists knew that this war would end with the destruction of this planet, so they began developing ginormous space shuttles to transfer the remaining civilian population to a new home 400 light years away. This is the story of two boys who both have lost their families to this war. Max, a yellow cat who has lived his life before the war rather privileged, when the war started his father joined in on the government's side. His mother took care of him, however she was killed when scavenging for food one day. He had to learn how to sustain himself under the harsh condition and is now making the transition back to luxury. His roommate will be a sapphire fox named Quinn, who comes from the opposite lifestyle. He had worked for others his whole life and never had a family to sustain him. He was lucky to find an unused bunker when the war started and had to fend for himself the entire time, this is his first time living with any type of luxury. How will these two boys who come from different walks of life interact as their natural hatred for each-other kicks in? Only time will tell.
