Levie is not an emo. He just simply enjoyed wearing black, blasting loud music in his ears, and doing most of the things a stereotypical emo would do. Nope. Not an emo. And definitely not falling in love with someone who would be considered the exact opposite of himself. It's a good thing they say opposites attract.
Andrew is an athlete. Playing soccer and doing track is what he is good at. He loves it. The rush from running, the thrill of competing, and the adrenaline pumping through his body. Of course, he loves it. But not as much as he loves Alex.
Alex is kind of an emo. Holding their own in the scary world of high school is tough, but Andrew, Levie, Cameron, their moms, their friends, and their band get them through it. And they're grateful.
