A menacing mother. And ungrateful sister. A past this girl wants to keep hidden. What happens when this 17 year old gets thrown into the halls of New York City's finest boarding school, Brentwood Academy? New relationships develop. Life changes. What happens when secrets come out and not everyone is who they are thought to be, even her? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Book teaser: There was a slight ringing, vague and distant. My body wasn't moving how I wanted it to, I couldn't open my eyes because the light was to bright. No it wasn't a ringing but rather a constant mechanical beep. As I heard the sounds of muffled voices I new what was happening. "The wounds were relatively deep but the way they are positioned allowed us the stop the bleeding and get Candice properly stitched up. Your daughter is extremely lucky that she didn't do more damage." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just after entering the building I felt a rough grip form on my clothed wrist. The harsh grip released after entering the dark room. "Who's there?" I questioned. "Listen whoever you are this isn't funny." Gripping the cold metal charm on my necklace, the lump in my throat got larger. In seconds the light switched on and I saw who dragged me in here. "You?" I glared.
