Low self-esteem wasn't something Eijirou Kirishima liked to admit to having. It wasn't manly. It wasn't strong. It certainly wasn't heroic, but after struggling with his crippling self-doubt for a lifetime things finally seem to be turning around when he's accepted into UA, a miracle he refuses to give himself credit for.

Katuski Bakugou refuses to allow himself to be weak enough to show his own low self-image. His frantic drive to be the best - and the only best - is manic and self destructive, so when he gets into UA and is anything but the top student he finds his explosive attitude worse than normal.

Somehow, when these two boys met - drawn together as though by forces outside of the realm of the natural - they both seem to find themselves healing from their own damage.All Rights Reserved

Bakugou Katsuki was never much one for luck. Chance maybe, but luck? Hell no. And he doesn't fail to notice the hopelessness that lingered far away in his shining eyes, as if his emotions had been poorly tucked away for another time. This time, he can't help but care. But nothing is ever as it appears, and your eyes can deceive you. Especially when you lie to yourself long enough. One day the villains attack, Kirishima wants to keep everyone safe, he wants to make sure he is the only that ever gets harmed during this.
