This is my entry for National Geographic's #PlanetorPlastic writing contest. In 500 words or less, we were asked to write and share a real or fictional story, that was inspired by the photos that were presented.
This short story is written through the eyes of a marine creature. It gives us a true understanding of how they feel and the way in which plastic, among other non-biodegradable materials are ending their lives, and bringing them near the edge of extinction.
Though the complete removal of plastic and other materials are near impossible, the least we could do is follow the three(3) R's:
Reduce
Reuse
Recycle
If everyone can attempt to follow this, each individuals' collective actions can have a tremendous impact on waste issues, making the world a better and cleaner place. In doing so, over 1 million marine animals would be saved each year by this kind, simple and selfless act.
So please,
Play your part in saving marine lives and spread the word. By doing so, it can inspire others to consider the impact of plastics on the planet, making them aware of their actions which may create a ripple of change.

[COMPLETED ✔] Amelia was all alone on earth. Suffering from hunger, thirst, and pain. She waits for her to die. The most she had been regret in her life is not having a family. Being abandoned by her parents since she was a baby, and no one wants to take her in. Sigh... Dying without no one for you to think is sucks! Soon, she died. However she awake with human voice. Her body is too weak to move even her eyes can't open but she can hear clearly. Eh? What? I'm pregnant!!!??? Amelia is very happy finally she has her own family! With her own blood! But wait? What??? Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
Ava and Aphrodite: The First Human in 8000 Years (Featured)
Thousands of years have passed since mankind's extinction, now the remaining society of Humanoid robots on Mars and Machine-like robots on Europa are at war. Ava, a stealth Mars-unit is sent on a mission to Europa to learn more about the enemy's new secret super weapon: the first biological human in 8000 years. (Now a featured Wattpad story, made it to 6 on the hot list!) *** This story is a mix of Nier: Automata, Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep, and what I thought Saturn's Children would be until I got to the half-way point. Europa
In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? Note: This story was written during a challenge to write an entire book in one week! The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Complete

Jupiter's life has always been hard from her mom taking her way from her family to her mother's boyfriend beating her almost every day. Then it all changes the day her mother died and she is sent to her family she never knew about. How will the family feel about when they find out there little sister and only daughter has been abused almost all her life and that she is involved in the ungrounded world. will her long lost family be ok with her being a teen mother or that her ex boyfriend left her before she could tell him that she was pregnant. When her ex finds out that he has a kid with Jupiter, Will he try to win her back because he still loves her or was he just using her. Will she find happiness and love or will she be alone the rest of her life? read and find out:) the main female lead is a badass and will not take shit from anyone even her own family. She will do whatever it takes to protect the ones she loves that is until they hurt her or betray her. About 1.5 billion years ago, the single-celled eukaryotes became the common ancestors of all multicellular plants, animals, and fungi. The most recent Ice Age (2.6 million to 12,000 years ago), severely reduced rainfall in Africa, where Homo habilis was evolving. In Homo erectus (1.9 to 0.5 million years ago), cranial capacity increased to between 850 and 1000 cm3 implying the phenomenal increase of 125,000 more neurons with each generation. Between 70 and 50 thousand years ago, Homo sapiens spread out from east Africa. Then, about 20,000 years ago, evolution made a sharp change in direction. After 250 million years, we ceased to be hunter gatherers. The Neolithic Revolution meant we could never go back.
