A man stands on a ledge on the side of a building. Far below, the world watches as his mind tells him to fall. His inner demons cling to his movements, but his remaining willpower locks him in place. Is redemption still possible?

My name is Nolan Moore and something special happened to me. Or at least that is what the psychiatrist calls it. I think it was disturbing, too horrific for words. What happened to me was something that keeps me up at night. Sometimes I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, even days. I get shivers down my spine even writing this down, but I have a feeling that I will be gone soon. So, if you read this, then you get a glimpse of my soul. I pray that before the end of my story I will get forgiveness for everything I have done. Just remember I did this because I thought it was the best thing at the time. Clearly, it wasn't. Time is a thin line floating between what was and what will be. It's flowing through space hoping to reach an end. Normally whenever someone makes a choice, time itself splits and although we don't feel a thing, it still happens, nonetheless. But now something happened that had never happened before. Two new lines that were created flowed alongside each other through the endless void, seeking their old one. They were never supposed to collide, but one strange afternoon everything went wrong. A man with a seriously messed up life and a load of mental problems made a lot of mistakes in his life but one stands above the rest. The story is about one man with a broken mind doing everything he can to try and make up for the wrong he did and find the woman he loves. This story is very intense and isn't for light reading. I think of the story like this: This isn't the story of a hero slaying a dragon and rescuing the princess. Nor is this a story about a hero who triumphs over evil and rescues the maiden in peril. This is the story of a man, who fights as much with himself, as he does the world around him. He is no hero, he is simply a man, trying to make the best he can of himself, and fix what he broke. He is both the protagonist, and antagonist of this story, because he does as much harm to himself as he does good.Complete

I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer! Will I survive in this new world despite knowing that I don't have a place to stay or food to eat? Note: This is more likely in Fantasy. Magic goes bruh broom brr. Also, there is some terms in this stories that is hard to understand like skills, ultimate skill, so read the prologue for that one. [short action-thought scenes] In a post bio-nuclear war apocalypse, nothing remained the same. the radiation from the war sent rays that take infinite years to die out into our world de forming it, changing it, mutating it. All living creatures mutated even most of the humans, but no two had the same effect. the only humans that haven't mutated are those hiding under ground. We follow the story of Mado X a survivor who escaped his underground safe house which was last called "the quarantine" because of all the diseases that occurred when their self powering generator stopped working. He now roams the world in order to survive, but the radiation.. what did it do to him? will survival be easy? MAN IT IS GOOD TO SEE THIS AGAIN. This is a story I wrote in high school and added onto the entire four years. It was hand written by me, hand edited on paper (both to my sega genesis playing the sonic 2 boss music) then transferred to comp, for the second edit, and even then it's still edgy garbage :'). Posting it because man I love this story, it was my first real one and peeps got excited for the "weekly" post of this I made on facebook. Dr Dashow has been run out of town, and in his old age he seeks to replicate the formula for life itself! He creates two creatures of pure shadow, as they grow distraught and leave causing havoc. Warning: Contains edge and death and murder or whatever. Written by a loner in high school who had no idea that periods could replace commas. Lmao. Grammatical errors abound. Also just noticed the spaces, it's spaced like that because in order to share it I had to limit my characters. It's too much of a bother to do it for EVERYTHING but just know that they are not new paragraphs, simply just cuts.Complete
