Fragility of the mind

Maya D'Amato. A seventeen-year-old awakes to the news that her best friend, of twelve years, has been murdered and her body abandoned in a boat. As she adjusts to life without her best friend she is haunted by the sound of pain. As the case begins, she finds herself a suspect with her psyche growing more fragile as time progresses. Sooner or later a ghost returns from the past that sends her world into extreme paranoia and questions her innocence.
