Star-crossed Lovers

"Where are you from?" Marina asked after a moment of thinking. She stared into bright blue eyes. They were pure like the stars in the sky.
"Another planet there's one up there with the stars each time a star falls it signifies a new phase in your life. This was mine, but it wasn't good. My mother died and my stepfather sent me away. The last thing I remember of her was this song she wrote for me called star crossed lovers."
