"Okay. What's your favourite food?"

"It will be you after we get married, but for now It's anything you give me to eat." He deadpanned.

Tseju almost choked on her own surprise. Sputter. More sputter.

"Close your mouth shugah. I don't wanna share that space with flies." He said, the shadow of a mischievous smile playing at the ends of his lips.

Tseju was still not talking, although she'd snapped her mouth shut now.

"Next question?"

She coughed. "Ahem. What's your favourite color?"

"It was ice silver, now its the color of your skin."

Folarin is sick of this. Every day, he wakes up to more fuel added to the idiotic rumours that he and his best friend, Chuka are in a secret gay relationship. It's ridiculous. Folarin has had actual interventions held over his chronic womanizing and Chuka gets in and out or more ships than Jack Sparrow. The two of them are drowning in women. And the fact they happen to be two of the biggest stars in Nollywood, not to mention insanely handsome, certainly doesn't hurt the process. But one blogger in particular, who seems to have a personal bone to pick with them, posts lie after lie while smoothly evading legal consequences. She needs to be stopped. So, as part of an elaborate plan to trap her, they decide to lean into it. It would be controversial. It could be career suicide. And it's a risk they're willing to take. But what starts as acting for the cameras starts to stir up some very real emotions, and they - for the first time - start to wonder... ...if the world was on to something. .... "This." Folarin said, waving his hand back and forth between them. "I want to try." Chuka cocked an eyebrow. "Being boyfriends?" Folarin shut his eyes and let out a long-suffering sigh. "Yes. Being bo- . You fucking know what I'm talking about." "And how exactly is that supposed to work?" "Why wouldn't it?" "For one thing, we're not gay." Folarin shrugged. "How hard can it be?" Chuka laughed through his nose. "I'm not sure that's how sexuality works, Folarin." This isn't steamy like Brother in Lust but it's still a good read, I promise. :) Enjoy.

He leaned into me so our lips were inches apart, I stared wide eyed, unable to move my body but I leaned my head back creating a little bit of space between us. A smirk graced his lips as his eyes twinkled with unbridled mischief. "You'll definitely make for a good wife. Lucky me". He said and purposely leaned into me so much so his lips nearly grazed mine, I squeaked and shut my eyes in surprise but his forehead only pressed on mine. I opened my eyes slowly to meet his and I realized he was holding up a diamond studded ring. I looked back at him only to see him watching my reaction closely. "What is that for?", I hoped he didn't detect how shaky my voice had become because of our close proximity. "This is your engagement ring, my dear fiancée", he said and took a step back, burying one of his hands in his pocket and tilting his head. I just stared wide eyed at the ring in his right hand, it was all too real. "What?, You didn't expect me to kneel, now did you", he chuckled at his own words and took my hand, sliding the ring on it. •••• Trapped in a marriage of convenience by her father, Sifon must fight tooth and nail to come out unscathed but she'd damned before she lets him have the last laugh. As she stared into his eager eyes, she knew she loved him but she couldn't help thinking she was doing the wrong thing. She loved him, but it wasn't fair to his girl.
