Their "foolproof" ways of genetic modification have effected many people.

Simeon Blake was one of these people, born with behavioral problems, and two different colored eyes.

After finally working to his potential and transferring from reform school to a private school, and with some help from a friend, he begins to see that there may be some hope for the world after all.
