The Beginning--a masked novella

Introduction

In the darkness of the night, in the dimmest corners of the alley ways, a person stands in a white mask, waiting for his kill, stalking like a predator. They are around you, but mundane eyes are not enough to distinguish them. They are there, skulking in the dusk illuminated roads of Ravine city. The masked ones have existed in the city from the start, protecting humans from the unknown dangers and perils. The monster beneath your bed and waiting in your closet is real. The fanged bloodsucker is there, but he is not out for claustrophobic love of Bella Swan. Midnight moon enunciates the howl of the creatures roaming in the shadows. They are coming for your blood, feeding on your fears and the only entities that can keep them at bay are………..
