The Unbreakable Silence

Author's Note: This is a poem I had composed in regards to the silence witnessed between an over working and oblivious parent, and a suffering child. This, in no way was published to criticize any act of parenting, but instead to show the brutality of cold and imagined relationship. It is rather a sad note, but I dearly hope that you, the reader, take from this a lesson: allow yourself to no longer keep your troubles within. Rest on the shoulder of your guardians. They are a blessing from God, and we are to care for them until the very end of time as they had from evolution. Open your hearts to the children that decorate this earth so beautifully. Do not ignore their calls. Let us not be affected by this changing society.

❝In my mind, there is pain. I am exhausted. I feel defeat from my hair tips to my feet- my body feels the stress weighing down on my shoulders. I try and try every day, but nothing seems to go my way. In my mind, there is pain, yet I try because one day, I will feel great. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. come pick my mind and stay awhile, make yourself comfortable. it's awfully lonely in here. - inside this book, you'll find five distinct parts: simply me, which tells you almost everything you need to know about me. you, which tells you about my experience with love and the state of bliss it brings you. after you, which tells you about my experience with heartbreak and hate. nightmares, which is every scary thing that occurs in my mind and things that instill fear in those who read it. the book closes with recovery, where we explore self-confidence and self-discovery. these are the inner workings of my mind, i'm not going to sugar coat it for you: it's a sad, depressing place. this all comes from the pages of my journals so i'm sparing you the tear-stained pages, consider yourself lucky. hope you enjoy! - feel free to comment or message me :)הושלם

Introspection: Poems by a Ruminator
When hardship is experienced, it is only human of us to think on the past. Sometimes though, we end up in a cycle of rumination, reliving events that cannot be changed; we become depressed in our memories. Writing can be therapeutic, so here is a collection of poetry exploring a range of sad and confronting memories. By sharing these poems, I hope to not only further my journey towards peace with the past but to connect with others out there who may be feeling the same way. Running Out of Face
Society has finally found a way to determine from birth which children will grow up to be depressed and possibly suicidal. They've deemed these children 'terminals', separating them from the 'pures'. This dystopian novel warns against the tragic stories that will come if we continue to dismiss the depressed as inhuman instead of working towards understanding and helping others that need it. No one is too far gone. Everyone can be happy when given the right chance. This story has no smut, but PS: the ending is worth it 😏הושלם
