That is why at the age of 19 Ember Kross must work to support herself since the death of her father has practically left her empty handed. Desperate she strays upon a solitary residence & becomes a maid in the house of Micheal Langdon where she gradually attracts the master painters/musicians attention.
Despite his dark history, Mr. Langdon must hide his new found inspiration (Ember) from his bitter subjects, especially his fiancé Catharina. As an artist Mr. Langdon cannot cage his inner most feelings, so he decides to express them in secret...this result will be one of the greatest masterpieces ever created, but at what cost?
