is always pain underneath."

"It is not the bruises on
the body that hurt. It is the
wounds of the heart and
the scars on the mind."
- Aisha Mirza
"So it's true, when all is said
and done, grief is the price
we pay for love."

Liam was running. Running, running, running from himself. From the demons that laced his mind and screamed dreadful things at him, about him, to him.
Dream, was stuck. Stuck in her past, no matter how hard she pulled, the hands of her past gripped her arms in a bruising way and flung her backwards back into it, back into her memories.
Hunter, a strange boy moving to the slums, fights his way into Dream's life. His mind just as silent, empty as her own. His hands limp and useless against his own abuser, his own mind.
Pain and past are far to easy to bring up, somewhere somehow we all must learn to deal with them both or die without the knowledge.
Dream will have to fight her way through, fight for her freedom, but how far are we really willing to fight?
Liam is just fighting, but what happens when that fighting causes him to hurt the only person he loves?
And Hunter, Hunter is fighting out to, but at some point when does fighting become useless against the pain you feel?
And when Dream gets to know more and more truth about everyone around her, who Liam really is, what Hunter really does, and who she truly is how much is to much?
When does pain become everything and the only thing we know makes us human?
And how's does a young 17 year old girl truly decide who is best for her, who she can truly trust, and who is truly there for her?
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
