The only response was a thud on the other side of the line and silence. She could barely hear the whimpering of the injured girl in the background.
"Hello? Hello!?" She asked impatiently, but there was no response. The only indication of the line still going was the quiet whimpers and sobs coming from the other end.
"Hello? Are you still with me? We have police and paramedics on the way. I'm sending back up. Please respond if you hear me." The dispatcher said, hoping she could hear the girl's voice, needing the consolation that she was okay, but she got nothing. Nothing but the pained cries and whimpers of the dying girl.
