When Kayla returns to her childhood home for summer break, she expects nothing more than hazy days spent behind her camera and restless nights scrolling through her phone. But that all changes when she meets Vasile. With his hypnotic presence, sharp wit, and a smile that never quite reaches his eyes, Vasile is unlike anyone Kayla has ever met. What begins as an innocent curiosity spirals into irresistible obsession. Vasile's presence stirs something deep within her: a desire she can't quite name, but one that pulls her in even as her instincts scream for caution. His touch is gentle, his words soft, but there's a shadow behind his smile, something he's hiding. She can't shake the feeling that there's more than meets the eye-something dark, ancient -- something not entirely human.
