As a zombie virus plagues North America, six high school students are forced band together in a attempt to survive this zombie apocalypse, and possibly find a cure to end this nightmare. [ . . . ] As we cautiously filed out of the van, our eyes widened as they met the ruins of Louisville, Kansas. The stench of rotting flesh and death tainted the atmosphere around us, making most of us gag. In that moment, the tiny shred of hope each of us had to put things back exactly how they were was lost. The mere idea seemed naive and childish and laughable now. This fabled 'remedy' failed to cure a zombified rat. There was absolutely no way it was going to millions of billions of undead people. This was all a fantasy and that fantasy was a dead end.
