"Dying isn't the problem, surviving is. Dying is the solution." The old world hadn't been the best, but it was heaven compared to the new one. Society has collapsed and a terrifying disease that can wipe out a small country in less than a week is the cause. With no government, no hospitals, and certainly no laws, it's every man for himself. The weak die, the strong survive, and the strongest thrive. Chaos reigns supreme, and nothing will ever be the same. Eddie Roden had never been one to give up a fight. Even if it ended in broken bones and a bloody nose. Running away was a sign of weakness, and her pride would never let her be weak. But that was Before. Before everything changed, before the world forgot mercy. Before Eddie had to forget everything she knew and loved. Now, running away isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength. Join Eddie as she learns exactly what it means to survive in this new world, and maybe, just maybe, find her place amongst the rubble.

Blackwood

Eli was barely staying afloat before the apocalypse. Working long shifts, taking care of his younger brother, and just trying to figure out what to do with his life. When he finds his mom trying to take a chunk out of her youngest son though, Eli knows what was happening. Years of movies and video games had made the Zombie Apocalypse a running joke for the generation, but Eli knew it wasn't a joke he could take. Will Eli finally be free of the limitations that his past held, will he be free from them? Or will they come back after he's already moved on? **This is the original version, I am currently working on rewriting the entire story**
