Ryūsei was the Inu no Taishou's ward, up until his death. She was trained by him and a Dragon youki for many reasons, one of which she didn't want to contemplate. Upon his death, he bestowed upon her a scroll telling her the truth for everything, one she didn't want to face... so she buried herself in her training for years. After Naroku is defeated, she becomes curious and finally sets out to face her destiny, and the one demon she didn't want to give her heart to. (I do not own any rights or have affiliation to Inuyasha, or its characters, that belongs to the wonderful Rumiko Takahashi.)

This story is related to manga and anime InuYasha, written by Rumiko Takahashi. If you haven't read manga or see anime it might be difficult to internalise the characters. I do my best that you can read this without familiarize InuYasha's story. Story starts where anime ended. Sesshomaru is cold and heartless daiyokai who hates humans. He found a middle aged Scandinavian women, Serene, from modern era who has somehow entered in the feudal era Japan. There are some mystical force what draws those two together. Their destiny is bound to each other, they just have to find a right road to walk. English isn't my first language, so there might be lots of mistakes.
