Ryūsei was the Inu no Taishou's ward, up until his death. She was trained by him and a Dragon youki for many reasons, one of which she didn't want to contemplate. Upon his death, he bestowed upon her a scroll telling her the truth for everything, one she didn't want to face... so she buried herself in her training for years. After Naroku is defeated, she becomes curious and finally sets out to face her destiny, and the one demon she didn't want to give her heart to.
