Sometimes even the ones you think you know best, turn out to be strangers.

I love the holidays! Love them! I had a book called Shorts. The first chapter of this new book is from that one. I'll add to it. When I'm bored and need inspiration. You may find some of my series book characters roaming around here at some point or another. And I might add some more of the Shorts, short stories, slightly tweaked, to fit the holiday theme.

Bailey finished university to be a vet. She is called back home to help with the family farm as her grandad has lung cancer. She has had a hard life with no mother and losing her best friend, so she doesn't trust or want to let anyone in but that all changes when she is... Reunited with her family and she finds a love she never expected. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zeke was abused his whole childhood and was never lucky finding his one true love, who would understand him, accepted him and loved him for who he is and not what has happened to him... Well that all changes when he meets Bailey.
