AN "HYMN OF DEATH" INSPIRED STORY

뜨겁기도 하다 이 가슴은
The feels: This book is a k-drama inspired based on a tragic love story.

An idealistic poet is convinced he needs to do his part in keeping Joseon's moral after the grim fate they face under the japanese government and puts together a crew to go on tour through Korea. He falls for one of the members of his crew: the first korean opera singer played by Shin Hye Sun.

If you enjoy romance that's pretty innocent but has a lot of emotional feels, you'll love the meloness nature of this book. It does deal with issues that some might be uncomfortable with ( suicide, infidelity) as a trigger heads up.
