Hi! Welcome to my first (published) anthology! 😂
⚠ TRIGGER WARNING. My poetry deals with very real issues. All of them, unless specified otherwise are from my own personal experiences. So I can understand that they may trigger other people's anxiety, depression, fear, etc.
I have also put a page in front of each poem with the tags that that poem deals with, as well as the story behind each poem, though the stories are on the next page (in between each set of tags and each poem), so that you don't have to worry about accidentally seeing it if you just wanted to check the tags.

The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. UNDERGROUND
I'm an artist. At least that's what I'm trying to become. I study art so that's a good step right? I have a normal life... well not really but it's not completely fucked up you know? I just do the things I maybe shouldn't but there are plenty other dudes doing the same. Drinking, partying, drugs... I won't say I'm proud of it but I don't regret it either. I like my life... sometimes I do. Who would've thought that my life would end up like this fucking mess? And who would've thought that I could change that much? All because I liked a boy... Careful this book is full with trigger warnings I will mention at each chapter. Some of them are: - drug use - alcohol - sexual abuse - physical abuse - mental abuse - suicide - self harm - eating disorder
Depressive quotes
The title says it all. *TRIGGER WARNING* Remember these are depressive quotes, so please if you get triggered easily, please just do not read. If you do, then... well... I can't really stop you... IMPORTANT: I only began all of this when I was about 12 or 13 years old, so there is a chance that there are a few mistakes here and there since I was really bad at english back then.
