A seemingly unstoppable disease is quickly spreading through the realm of Itteros. It has many names - The Shaking Death, Rooster Tongue, The Lurgy. No one knows how or why it began and no doctor or magic-worker can figure out how it's being spread. People are disappearing off the streets.

Robin is just a working-class citizen trying to help her parents make a living. She steals from the higher-class society in Obaroth to support the orphanage and because it seems to be the only thing she's good at.

Nikolas Ciardi is a high-ranking soldier in the King's Military and good friends with the Prince. Everything is going perfectly for him; there's rumour of promotion to General, the beautiful Princess Sage is looking for a suitor, and he's in good graces with the King of Obaroth.

The unlikeliest of comrades must find a way to stop the Lurgy from killing more people, and the King of Obaroth has a plan. Willing or unwilling, they must journey to the mining town Gomulyn to retrieve an antidote that can stop the Lurgy.

Amara, a free-spirited troublemaker, has never been one to follow the rules. Living in a world of chaos, she's constantly at odds with her broken family and refuses to let anyone control her life. When her family arranges a marriage with Ryan, a sarcastic and seemingly perfect doctor, Amara sees it as an escape from her reality-without realizing just how complicated things will become. She agrees to the marriage to break free from the toxicity of her past, but she never expected Ryan to be so composed, intelligent, and... clingy. Ryan, almost 30, is a highly skilled doctor who's spent most of his life focusing on his career. With his mother pushing him to settle down, Ryan agrees to the marriage with Amara, believing it's a simple arrangement. However, he never anticipated the whirlwind that is Amara. Despite her wild nature, Ryan can't help but be drawn to her fiery personality. The two are constantly clashing as Amara refuses to act like a typical wife, while Ryan's sweet, albeit sarcastic, approach to their marriage has a way of sneaking under her skin. What starts as a chaotic, forced union soon transforms into something deeper. As the months pass, Amara and Ryan are forced to confront their own fears and insecurities, learning that their marriage is more than just an escape from the past-it's a chance to fight for each other. Between late-night arguments, unexpected tenderness, and growing affection, both Ryan and Amara will have to decide if they can let go of their pasts and embrace a future together, full of love, laughter, and the chaos that makes their hearts beat a little faster.

So, here we are, all of us, lost in this mystical realm with zero memory of where we came from. It's like we all took the world's worst vacation, and now nobody can find their way back home. And guess what we have to guide us? A poem. Because why bother with maps or instructions when you can have cryptic, poetic nonsense? It's almost like Serenus wants us to play a twisted game of "figure it out before you die." Now, the world itself is a total trip. It's a magical land where anything is possible, except, apparently, for things making sense. But don't let the pretty flowers and magical buffets fool you-something's not quite right in this enchanted Eden. You've got all these resources lying around just begging to be used for peace, justice, and all those other warm, fuzzy ideals. It's like someone set up the perfect civilization starter kit, but forgot to mention that some of these folks are dead set on turning this dreamland into their own personal dystopia. And with their magical abilities, they're like toddlers wielding chainsaws-adorably dangerous, but mostly just dangerous. Meanwhile, me and my merry band of misfit friends are stuck trying to save this world from self-destruction. Because apparently, we're the only ones who read the brochure about this place being a "civilized society based on values." And while we're at it, I'm also on a little side quest to answer the age-old question: Who am I? It's not like I have bigger things to worry about, like, I don't know, preventing magical Armageddon or anything. With a charming mix of wit, sarcasm, and a healthy dose of "what-the-heck-is-going-on," the story of Serenus follows our nameless protagonist as they unravel the mysteries of this strange land, all while trying to avoid becoming dino-chow or the latest victim of a magical mishap. It's a tale of self-discovery, magical frisking, and just trying to survive another day in this oh-so-serene-and completely crazy-world.

It's been five years since Kai's life was completely turned upside down, but he is extremely grateful for the things that have happened. The deaths not included, things have changed for the better. Kai feels that if those men and Thorn hadn't showed up at his home, Abby wouldn't be his girlfriend, Chase wouldn't be his best friend, Shintaro wouldn't be an amazing "therapist" (as Chase calls it) to Kai, Linda wouldn't be like a mother to him, Gabriel wouldn't be the funny-in-his-own-antisocial-way friend (he had his own home in the town, so he often visited), and Kai wouldn't be as close to his father has he is now. Kai is actually enjoying his new life in this strange town. The village is "ruled" by a young woman named Ruby, and everyone there adores her for being such a great leader. Kai has only met her once or twice, but she seems very nice. But there is something prickling at the back of Kai's mind, and it unsettles him greatly. Ever since Moon vanished after killing Luke, she hasn't been spotted anywhere. Kai often wonders if she is somewhere far from where they are now, planning her next attack. When a series of strange events start happening around the town, Kai is certain that Moon is back and playing her game with them. In a way, he is right. But there are many things that he is also wrong about. During the midst of it all, Shintaro gets captured, sending Kai down a path of despair and hopelessness. He feels responsible for getting Shintaro back, but he doesn't know what he's up against. Thankfully, his friends don't let him do it by himself. As always, they have his back. And soon, new friends are there behind him, too. The group finds that Moon is behind all of this, but she isn't doing it for herself. She has Shintaro for a certain reason, and the friends are soon to find out what is at stake. The lives of others, including loved ones.
