It does talk about sensitive topics like sexual assault, mental/physical abuse and death, but it also talks about homophobia. I do not condone rape, any type of abuse or homophobia because 1) I have had experience in the formerly mentioned topic of an assault. 2) I am open to talking to people because I am a very empathetic person. 3) It's a book that isn't based on a real person. Merely fiction. 4) I think gays and lesbians are awesome people and sometimes better than heterosexuals. (Personal opinion.) Constructive criticism is welcome.
