~Huge technological innovations have been created in the last decades. Scientists have now discovered how to stop human aging and extend life indefinitely. Only the most wealthy and elite are able to undergo this procedure, but they aren't the ones that actually pay. Due to laws intended to keep the surplus population in check, for every extended life, another has to be cut short. This decision is done at random from civilians who are unfortunate enough to be born into lower class families- people like my friends, family, me.~
