Once upon a time, five people agreed to be part of a secret experiment. The experiment was meant to give them superpowers. They were promised that their loved ones would not be affected by the experiment, no matter what the outcome was. This was good, as the experiment failed--or so they thought. For one, it was her first child. For another, his second-born. For a third, her third. For the fourth, her fourth, and for the fifth, his first. They were all born with strange powers--powers that nobody could explain, and that put everybody around them in danger. Taken from their parents, the children were raised apart from society. Test Tube was bored. So incredibly bored. She had done every experiment in the book. At least, every humane experiment. She looked down at the open book. An idea that couldn't be tested as there was no way to test it without potentially facing jail time for torture. But so many other famous scientists who made huge discoveries also did inhumane things for the sake of science. If it meant recognition for your brilliance and neediness outside of the show, Test Tube wouldn't mind stepping over a couple boundaries. But which lines would she be willing to cross? Or, a better question in hindsight, how much would change? WARNING! In this fic, there are mentions of : -Blood -Body horror -Kidnapping -Suicide/suicidal thoughts -Medical trauma in general If any of these topics trigger you, I don't recommend reading!
