Seventeen year old Zara Clifford has been working in her family's inn located in the outskirts of Toronto, a small inn that she would help out during the holidays when it gets busy, especially during the winter. She goes about her daily routines working in the inn, helping out in the kitchen and spending the rest of her time in her special coffee counter.
Calam Wells is a schoolmate of Zara Clifford, and he happens to be caught in a snow storm just along the way home from a road trip with his friends.
There, their fates collide, and what could possibly change this winter?
