"We're all poisoned," "You just took a little too much poison." ~~~ Once upon a time, a man poisoned his own mind. ~~ Zed Aline doesn't understand himself. His mind is like an overly functioning machine that's about to break. He's stuck in a forest of his thoughts; thoughts capable of murdering his sole existence, filled with constant questions and doubt of everything that surrounds him. The line between dreams and reality is completely nonexistent to him. It's like an indistinguishable wall that blinds him from seeing the truth and even himself. In that moment, the wars inside of his head seemed like the worst thing that could happen to him. His mind leaves him in a constant state of vulnerability and fear of anything around him. Doors that once used to be filled with light and opportunities are now like rotten roots, engraved with his darkest moments. In just one moment, all his nightmares break out of the cage he'd trapped them in and turn into his reality. In an instant, all his walls are shattered into meaningless pieces, like they didn't even exist and in his state of anger, a declaration of war is made. He's dragged into a bizarre battle in between worlds that could cost him his life. Truth strikes itself through his shattered walls and into his desperate state of mind. With no source of help, no source of escape, Zed is left all alone in a battle he's too scared to accept. A battle against an enemy he'd hoped to never see again. A battle that endangers his own life. A battle where death is an unquestionable fate. A battle where all his boundaries are broken. With his own life at stake and the past clinging onto his fading existence, Zed is faced with a choice that could mean the end for him. A choice that Zed refuses to even acknowledge. ~~~
