Guardian ( Chinese ) is a web drama adapted from the fantasy bl novel of the same name.
The original novel was changed in the show to be a bromance, rather than romance between the two leads due to the censorship.
The series has 40 episodes which ended as a tragedy.
I am writing a sequel to the series which will contain romance between the two leads and will ended up as a happy ending for the both leads.

I WAS DEVASTATED WITH THE ENDING of Guardian! I knew that the drama has a sad ending before I even started watching it but still wanted to give it a go and once I was done with it I cursed myself as to why I watched it! I cried my eyes out damn! Being a sucker for happy endings I was so depressed about the fact that Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan do not end up together even though Shen Wei literally waited for Zhao Yunlan for 10,000 years. Therefore, I decided to write my own ending! A HAPPY ENDING!!! Disclaimer: 1. I am altering the events of ONLY the last episode and also changing other co-related happenings to the final episode. Obviously, I am no big shot writer and my knowledge about Chinese Mythology is very limited as well. Therefore, please pardon me if I hurt your feelings in any way. My work is purely for the reason that I hate, absolutely hate sad endings and cannot accept it! 2. As I have already mentioned above that I am basically changing the sequence of events that has been shown in ep 40, so it means that there will be few scenes and dialogues which will remain unchanged. 3. I respect the fact that the Laws and censorship is very strict and therefore, no homosexual plot is accepted, I will abide by that and also make a happy ending without any homosexual content!! Sweet Romance
My favourite couple as always are my Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan from Guardian by Priest. the story is about two cousins that they grew up together as loving and so close to each other but as they grow into teens they were separated from eachother but later again they got to meet. Zhao Yunlan is a trouble maker and lazy, he hates working and only spends his time playing around. He was the one who raised Shen Wei from when he was a babe until he became a teen but always getting on his nerves. Shen Wei is totally the opposite of him, a wise and smart man that makes everyone in the family proud of him, he is calm and confident. The only thing that shakes his confidence is Yunlan especially that he has obsessive compulsive which make Yunlan always make fun of him. the story is sweet, funny but sometimes becomes serious and sad.
