Ocean Desert

My mother claims that her grandmother could remember a time when the earth wasn't a scorching desert and a complete wasteland. It apparently used to have amazing oceans and millions of beautiful acres of nature. Now, however, where the ocean used to be sits a never ending desert wasteland scattered with endless amounts of garbage and useless treasures.

Within this ocean desert lives Nyssa Travers, a twenty year old woman going through the same daily routine in her quaint village. Her life wasn't glamorous, quite boring actually, but that was fine with her as long as her family was alive and well. She was at peace with her life and came to terms with the circumstances in it a long time ago. Everything changes, however, when one day a member of ALLICO-a scientific corporation that strives to make the world better-arrive, recruiting for their large corporation. Suddenly, things aren't as peaceful as they once were.
