In 2011 my Mom passed away. She was an organ donor. She always liked to help someone in need and may have saved a life by being a donor. My family received green wrist bands in the mail that say "Donate Life". This little green wrist band inspired this poem/lyric. I hope it will inspire the readers. XO

My Mom had always been there for me. She'd always know what was best for me. She was willing to take up multiple jobs to keep me in school. But I insisted on dropping out. Now, I help her. She works for a rich family while I take up some jobs from nearby cafés and restaurants. But when she passed, she spoke her last words to her boss. "Please take good care of my Rose. I trust you will keep her safe and show her the hospitality you have showed me."
