For the First Time In Years || Stony AU

Steve Rogers never expected to meet the broken shell of Tony Stark at 3 AM in the bar he worked. He had heard of him, had seen him on the news being showed off by Howard Stark, had seen the empty look in his eyes even when he smiled. But that had disappeared for a few months, the time he reportedly had been dating someone. But today that man was gone replaced with pain hidden under a smirk of confidence that slowly cracked away in pieces, the more the man drank. Until Steve had decided to cut off the alcohol supply. He had seen him stumble out few minutes later.
A few days later, Steve saw Tony walking on a street, passing the cafe he worked in during the day. The man didn't have the hollow look in his eyes but determination. That was until Steve officially met him one day, while having a hangout that was supposed to only contain his little group of friends. His unofficial family.

AU, in which Tony is a 22 year old CEO with a lot of issues and Steve is an overworking poor man with a lot of financial issues. Slow build-up. And a lot of angst. Maybe some fluff. One day.
