Hi!,
This isn't normally the kinda of stuff I write, but the idea has gotten my curious so enjoy! Please feel free to leave suggestions for future events in the story or CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM (no hate...please). Finally I don't plan on any romantic relationship's in this story other than Toriel and Asgore.
This story takes place after Frisk has freed the monsters from Mt. Ebott. Most humans have excepted monsters (some are still skeptical or just want nothing to do with monsters because that's how humans are). This also takes place in a world where humans know of magic and souls. Humans can use very low level magic (if any at all) like magic affecting souls (blue magic, green magic, ext...).

A surface AU I made up myself! Summary: You lived your boring life as always until monsters finally reached the surface and spiced things up. You gained a new job through them as a scientist and never thought you would get to meet so many of them in person. Little did you know that monster magic brought up a completely different side inside of you that you didnt even know exsisted, especially a certain skeleton monster who seems to be having the same problems. Can you turn back to normal together, will you stay the way you are or will you be able to part forever in order to live perfectly normal lives? There is no smut. A few small kissing scenes, but not more. I tried to focus more on story telling and relation (I think). [This is really not one of my best stories, so pardon me for the Quality to the end. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). None of the fan art in this book is mine all of them are credited to the artiest. What if Undyne and Alphys never met until Frisk saved the monsters and brought them to the surface. They have only met once and that's when Undyne was sent on a errand by King Asgore to give Alphys some letter from the king himself. Now that they are on the surface they all go to the same collage. Undyne and Alphys officially meet when Undyne goes to the bathroom and see three human girls hitting and attacking Alphys. Undyne and Alphys gets closer to one another and become a couple, but there is one problem Undyne's ex-girlfriend Lydia wants to control everyone and take over. There will be pain, love, abuse, losses and Determination. Also you'll get to see you two of my own character Lyida(who is Undyne's Ex- Girlfriend) and Allison who is in later on in the story. There is more to the story other then the secrets of Alphys and Undyne.Complete

what if Asgore and Toriel part on good terms after his delcaration of war? what if Flowey did not turn evil by the time Frisk came into the underground ? what if Papyrus was more willing to fight and more able to dodge (..without still knowing what capturing a human would do)? what if Sans still did not find about "the anomoly" due to Flowey's lesser amounts of resets? and more small things a "what if" type of story for all to see
