Dragon of the apocalypse, black dragon, master of death, dragon king; Acnologia has been called many things through his life but he's certain that now he can rest in death, however a certain blonde haired celestial wizard from the past has something else in mind. Instead of death, Acnologia is thrown into a crazed task of protecting the world he once swore to destroy and raise the very people he attempted to murder. Will he be able to stay sane, can he manage the many trials that lay ahead of him, and when he faces the most devastating enemy that earthland has ever seen, will he be able to protect this new guild and his family from the horrors of his past?
This is the story of Acnologia and the world he forges, the family he makes, the loss he felt, and the scars of his past. This is the story, of the dragon father.


I wrote this story wanting an awesome Acnologia/Papalogia story... warning this story goes on forever...this has violent themes but no other weird stuff. I don't do gross stuff. No. There is violence, blood, self-harm(don't worry it ends well!), death, and... some cute lovey stuff but nothing else...I do not do smut.

P.S I do NOT own Fairy Tail or any of the characters... or the art... I wish... but I don't.

The land of Fiore has been thriving for a long time. In recent years dragon's have begun to plague the land. The guilds have barely been able to fight against them. The leader of the dragons is non other then the chaos dragon, Acnologia and his only son, Natsu. About a few weeks ago Lucy Heartphilia joined the guild to help in defending against dragon attacks. One day Acnologia sends Natsu to finish the job. The dragons start by attacking Magnolia primarily to wipe out Fairy Tail. In the middle of the battle while instructing the other dragons, Natsu gets distracted when he sees Lucy and blacks out. He was shot out of the sky and taken into Fairy Tail's custody. He wakes up in captivity and is treated terribly by the guild except for one person. One person that changed his life forever. The Celestial Mage who stole and calmed his angry flames and his heart.
