Amanda and Paul, two married couples with no children, found a baby on their doorstep one day. There was also a note simply saying that she was abandoned and telling her name, nothing more. They felt bad for the little girl and raised her as their own child. Nine years later, Natalia grew up and was relieved when Amanda came back home with a baby boy they later called Zack. After some years of taking care of Natalia, she couldn't ask for a better life, that is until they died after five years, she was left alone to look after her brother. They lived in a city that later on became an apocalypse, so they fled to the jungle where they built a house and settled there. She thought everything was good and she was happy, but little did she know she was being stalked.

After her parents's accident, Delany shut her self from the world. She liked being in her safe, little bubble.. Mason, on the other hand, wanted to see that smiling, bubbly girl once more. He helped her sleep without nightmares and mended her broken self. Fast forward five years, they are strangers now. She doesn't talk to him, he doesn't talk to her. They're completely different. He's the bad boy who all the girls fawn over, and she's the girl who is simply there. And they're fine like that, even if they so happen to be neighbors and used to be childhood best friends. One night Mason crawls into her room, neck deep in trouble with no one to turn towards except her, and now she's the one helping him.
