Kris is really, really fucking tired of being possessed. (Well, that's an understatement.) 

Ever since they woke up yesterday morning, they haven't been in control of their life.  (They were never in control- but now they're even less.) First the SOUL, heartbeats worming their way into Kris' head, silent yelling- then the entire world seems to be possessing Kris, controlling all their actions. (The SOUL says it's someone named Toby Fox. Kris thinks that's a stupid name.)
