Living with Epilepsy isn't easy for 16 year old Delilah Palomares, her days consist of drinking her medications and going to school and coming home to even more medication to treat her convulsions. Life for Delilah isn't that great, parents always fighting over the simplest things. She constantly feels like she's drowning in her problems, her friends are there for her like always but then again she still feels alone. One night she stumbles upon a mysterious boy, Delilah has never seen him or talked to him well because it's a random person on kik messenger so he could be anywhere in the world. Delilah decides to talk to him, it wouldn't hurt anyone right? As she begins to get to know this boy she soon realizes that this boy is her saviour and he won't let her drown.
