"Have you ever done this?" He asked me with a piercing gaze. I casted my eyes downward and shook my head. There was an eerie silence. "I'm sorry. I can't do this with you." He whispered. And just like that, he was gone out of my life for the second time. I honestly didn't know if I was going to see him again this time. I didn't know if I was going to be able to hear his laugh or see his smile and the dimples or run my hands through his curly hair or see his eyes sparkle in the way only his does... I didn't know if I was going to ever be able to tell him that I loved him.

Why don't you get it? I can never be good for you! I am worthless" I said trying to hold in my tears. There was no way he was going to see me cry. "They are beautiful to me. I don't see a single reason why you should hate them" he said moving his wheel chair closer to where I stood. "This" he said bringing my hand where I had some faint scars and kissing them. "Would always be a story to me of how you survived." He looked at me. There were no lies in them, just his pure truth. "I love you Aren" he said. For the first time since anyone said that to me, I believed it.
