13 year old Ninnetta Carlithia is the middle child between her eldest sister 15 year old Valencia and her younger sister 4 year old Zorah. Ninnetta must follow the order of Andacia when outside her home, but at the same time keep the secret that her mother Edyth Carlithia is a rebel spy trying to destroy the order. If the secret is revealed her whole family will die or worse... banished into the unknown that lies beyond the walls around them. 

What will Ninnetta do when their mother is discovered? How will she and her sisters service if they are banished?

Ninnetta must find her strength and realize that she and the world are more imperfect then she once believed.
