I used to be a normal guy. Just your run of the mill blonde hair blue eyed high school crush. Come on, we've all had one of those before. And everything was good and dandy for everyone else, but I felt like I was missing something. Something more... exciting? Anyways, I was diagnosed with a deadly virus and almost died. Well, technically I kinda did die but since no one was there to take me to my afterlife, my spirit just kinda floated. For two hours. After hovering over my dead body for the most boring two hours of my life, Ferid finally came. Now Ferid is a Reaper. You know, the guys/gals/others that take you to the afterlife? And since he's a lazy ass, he just christened me a Reaper and I was brought back to life. Now my life has been a lot less boring, I have a rad tattoo on my shoulder, and I have been guiding souls to the after life happily for three years. My anniversary of becoming a Reaper is coming up and I have to avoid any living people at all costs. What happens when my best friend appears right next to me on the day of my anniversary?
