I'm going to try to summarize my plans for this book as much as possible without giving anything away. This is my first book, so I'd appreciate if anyone commenting negatively would use constructive criticism, thanks. This story is a work in process. It's about a teenager, I never really address her age, that grows up in an abusive home where her father tends to lose his temper and hit her and her mother, but one night he takes it too far and sexually assaults Cassie (the girl) and she breaks to the point of running away to her middle school friend, Liam, who's waiting for her in Indiana. There's a catch, though. In order to pursue Liam's dream, she allows him after two years of her not reaching him to leave to Florida, so Cassie's journey will be difficult.

I wrote this story before I knew what I was even doing! This was written in 2011 and is unedited and sloppy. It's the first story I ever wrote. Maybe one day I'll be able to do an edit now that I know what I'm doing more. First step, moving out of my parent's house. Second step, finding a roommate. Kendra finally thought she was free. This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Looking now, some things might be wrong but I'm keeping it in the story. Also there might be slow updates because I want to make my chapters pretty long (it doesn't start like that until chapter 34 or 35) but I'm also planning on making either 1 or 2 two stories after this one like a type of series.
