After a year of successfully landing a job at a sports channel her family couldn't believe that the easy-going and beautiful Charlotte was single. Last Christmas her mother made her promise that this year she would come home to Christmas with a plus-one.
Charlotte figured that a fake boyfriend to get her mother off her back wouldn't hurt, but then she received the dreaded phonecall of her mother demanding that she brings her boyfriend for Christmas. Charlotte comes up with a plan, starting with the fact that she has to inform her fake boyfriend that they've been fake-dating for six months.

"Um... well... how do I say this?" Charlotte grined at him awkwardly. "They think we've been dating for six months. Surprise!"
"WHAT?" Alexis was so surprised that he droped his bag. "You want me to spend Christmas with your family?"
"No, no, no. " Charlotte held her hands up. "I have a plan!"
"I don't think you're the best at comming up with plans." Alexis smirked slightly.
"This is a great plan. The plan is that you help me out with a phonecall, just talk to my mother and tell her that you can't come. After the holidays are over I'm going to tell them that we broke up and you'll never have to deal with this again." Charlotte fluttered her eyelashes in her best puppy-face impression.
"Okay, fine." Alexis gave in. He had a dangerous look on his face. "But you owe me."
