Brontar is a young boy who lives in the kingdom of Lakros. It's people live in constant fear of the Drakens that live outside its walls. Before their fall the Imperial Knights defended the city, now the kingdom relies purely on time and hope. But after a mysterious figure appears, Draken sightings inside the kingdom begin to increase and so Brontar must now pursue the path of an Imperial Knight or else there may not be a kingdom to live in.

Soon the whole human race would be gone, but that didn't happen. Everything changed when a man appeared. He was just a man they all thought until they witnessed him controlling and even riding a dragon with scales as black as the night sky. Once he came, the killings and number of wild dragons dropped, he had tamed them all. He came to be called Kahlo in our language or to the humans, he was the Dragon King. With Kahlo riding a dragon, he showed only the loyal ones how to do the same. That is how the Riders were born." The man stopped talking as he looked at the two faces of his children.
