Her and her mum have a very open relationship, her and her best friends are inseparable and her academic performance is exceptional as she goes to an all girls grammar school. One day, Taaliah is surprised with unexpected news of her mums friend moving in with them with their children. Taaliah is not too keen on this but it would be selfish to say something after what they've been through. Zane Declan, an 18 year old boy, had a traumatic past. For Taaliah, nothing had ever changed and she never wanted it to either. Everything was different when Zane declan stepped through her front door. The three things that mattered to her the most were destroyed. but was the 'different' a good thing?
