It is 1888 and London has been shrouded in a cloud of death and despair. A Murderer combs London's streets killing prostitutes and young women. The women have been brutalized in such a way many would believe a monster is plaguing London's streets.

But, Death doesn't feed mouths and provide beds and it is what leads Louise mother to send her there. She tells her it is time to leave home. She has made arrangement's for her in London as a housekeeper in Manor. London was far from her little country home and it a reminder of her Title.

You are the curse among your family a burden so plainly unwanted it was an amazement they had given you to the orphanage at your birth or sold you off to the nearest farmer.

It's because of your eyes. Those Demon eyes.

They were different. A kaleidoscope of Pink, Blue, and green. The priest of the church called them devil's eyes and it all too often he threw holy water on her as she passed the church. It was why no man in the village came for your hand. These eyes were a plague. Louise let out a say as she touched the corner of her eyes. Maybe in London, She wouldn't be seen as a monster. Maybe She would finally be seen as a girl.
