Alana Kelsall has had one interesting life.

She was able to skip kindergarten, she had several friends, but one very special best friend.

She never had to worry about money being an issue considering her dad was a Scientist and the owner of a technology company. Her mother was a well known lawyer.

She also had an overprotective, loving older brother.

Now I know what you're thinking: yuck one of those perfect, preppy, rich snob barbies that everyone hates, but yet wants to be best friends with.

Well your wong.

Alana had lost her brother in the Air Force, her mother was killed in a plane crash.

The first time she had sex, she got pregnant.

Her best friend and the father of the twin boys went into the Marines and had supposedly gotten killed, only to return several years later.

She not only suffers from depression, but she also deals with the daily battle of self-harming.

Now she is dealing with the fact that her son is sick in the hospital, a cause unknown.

What happens next is not only a mistery to Alana, but to everyone around her.
