Child of Fire and Night

An unfortunate series of events is about to unfold for Nyx Phoenix. After attending Durmstrang as the sole female student, her uncle, Igor Karkaroff, is now sending her to Hogwarts to complete her education. There she meets the Golden Trio, new friends, new enemies, and Professor Snape.

What will she do when her past comes to light and her future is threatened? Will she continue to fight her way through the fire and make the right decisions? Or will she go back down the path of darkness?

-This story, although it follows the original story line, WILL deviate and have NON-CANON additions.
-Severus Snape is aged 26. He is not based off of the movie version played by Alan Rickman and therefore does not resemble him physically. This is a much younger version of Snape.
-Nyx Phoenix is 16. She plays a major role in the main (original) story line, however, she does not alter said story line.
-The story is set during the fourth book, The Goblet of Fire, after the World Cup. (If you have not read/watched the series past this point, please do not proceed further as it may contain spoilers.

There will also be some chapters that contain or may reference anxiety/panic attacks and what their causes are (causes for attacks may/or may not include domestic violence).
