I thought about the odds now. Maybe they weren't so great, but after all I had been through, I knew something had to be in my favor.

Noah Albedo was perfectly fine with her life, avoiding the people she didn't like, spending time with the people she did. But her entire future is derailed when her name is called at the Reaping Ceremony.
