Laurence Broadhurst came from an adventurous and loving family, that sadly fell apart. It fell apart so much that the person he loved most, his mother, had to make a decision to leave her family or stay and raised her only son. She loved her son more than anything in his world, but didn't know if he would survive the dangers of being a pirate. So she did the hardest thing she ever had to do, leave her son and her husband behind to live her dreams to continue on being a first mate.
Now at the age of 15, Laurence is left to fend not only his sad and drunk father, but himself. The pub job he has barely pays enough for their home, and his father barely taking care of his business only made things unbearable. Until one day, some suspicious men follow him and "offer" him a job he couldn't refuse. He wasn't expecting for this lowlife offer to be changed into something he could truly get ahold of.

This is a book about my OC Laurence, who is apart of a pirate tag called CaptainRenegades! This is his backstory and what happened before he was saved. More detail will be inside of the book. Enjoy!

In a world of gods, pirates, and blessings, Phoenix Finch lives in a small coastal town secluded from the rest of the world. In a town that values rules, traditions, and law above all else, Phoenix has never known of anything else. When he is both rescued and kidnapped by the most fearsome pirate of them all, Nico Maheras, The West Wind, he is brought into a world so unlike his own. Scared and alone, he lashes out, and the captain lashes right back. As he is introduced to more and more of the crew, he finds that maybe, Pirates aren't as bad as he thought, and maybe the captain isn't as scary as he seems. He begins to settle into the ship, finding friendship and freedom. But when his sister is kidnapped by Redcoats for her blessing, he must take action and save her along with his new friends. But Phoenix will soon find out there is more to himself, the captain, and this story, than it seems. - - - This is the first draft of my novel, which took about a year to write. As such, this is somewhat unedited, and needs improvement. Constructive criticism is both wanted and appreciated. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Cover is mine, made with AutoDesk Sketchbook and BeFunky photo editor. - - - - Content warnings: Kidnapping, Violence, Cursing, Fighting, Torture, Death, mentions of past s*xual assault, and slavery. Please let me know if there's any other warnings that you think should be added! (I swear that makes it sound so much worse than it actually is. This is a lighthearted story about friendship, self discovery, family, and freedom.)

When Lady Katherine Rosia Fang escapes the fate of a nobleman's leash-sold off to the highest bidder to salvage her crumbling family name-she finds herself stowed away aboard a pirate ship, the Iron Wren, led by the infamously sharp, infuriatingly composed Captain Arthur Kirkland. But Kat is no ordinary stowaway. Fierce, clever, and dangerously untamed, she claws her way into survival, leaving tatters of silk and every expectation of obedience in her wake. Her wit bites. Her pride burns. And her past? It's hunting her-led by a marquis obsessed not with her name, but with owning her entirely. As Kat battles storms, swords, and the wild-eyed man chasing her through every port, she carves out a place among the pirates who reluctantly come to call her family. Alongside Arthur-whose past bleeds through his silence-she finds something unexpected: trust, loyalty, and the slow, breathless pull of something that might be love. But nothing comes easy at sea. When chains return and the Marquis closes in, Kat and Arthur face war on every front-flesh, heart, and legacy. Blood is spilled. Bones are broken. And beneath moonlight and cannon smoke, their bond is tested by pain, pride, and the impossible cost of freedom. This is a story of a girl who was never meant to kneel. A pirate who never learned how to stop running. And the brutal, beautiful truth of finding home in each other-through ruin, rescue, and the kind of love that tastes like gunpowder and hope.

I think I'm gonna revise this to mature a little more lol Story 1 of Pirates of the Caribbean Jessica Williams is a well profound pirate. her name is known to most places on land and sea. At least it used to be before she disappeared for a decade. Her mother being a fallen Pirate Lord, her father being a fallen Commodore left her an orphan at the age of 17. That didn't slow her down. She made a name for herself in her ruthlessness, saving no mercy for any gender or rank. Along her life she got herself into a spat with Davy Jones on the seas, interfering with souls he was trying to collect by force. She said it was an imbalance to the natural order but he in turn nearly killed her..Tia Dorma nursed her back to health when she found Jessica washed up on the shores of her island. Her entire crew had been killed and she was left barely alive. So Tia Dorma decided to held her in exchange for her beating heart. Jessica didn't understand at the time, and claimed she had no use for it so she could happily take it. Everyone she ever cared about was dead anyways so what did she need it for? However, Tia said there was much about a human heart that she had yet to lean and she would only give the heart back once it heals and Jessica could "properly utilize it" whatever the hell that meant.. Until then Tia would put a spell on Jessica. She couldn't die until something in Jessica stirred that cold heart of hers..read to see more! (Story was made in 2010 so I'll probably be editing as I post chapters!)

None of this would of happened if the Frenchman would've kept to himself... None of this would of happened if he hadn't tried to prove himself to all the other pirates instead of being a wannabe... But after what happened, everything took a nosedive down into a never ending rabbit hole... ****** Francis was tired of being called a wannabe pirate and wanted to make his mark; by robbing a merchant ship and being one of the "big boys". But not all goes according to plan. The merchant ship he had been waiting for to steal something off of, had been robbed under his nose and nothing was left with no trace of who took the stuff besides rumors and legends. Francis is sent down a rabbithole of questions and mysteries after making a deal with two notorious pirates, Hunter and Hooke, which sends him into the case of an unknown pirate that is acting on his own will and killing anyone on board the vessel, which only means one thing. There's a rogue pirate in St. Pierre... And there's only one detective that can help him, Detective Kirkland, a stubborn and high strung individual who doesn't believe in the legend and can't stop arguing with the Frenchman for one minute. Will the two be able to put alongside their differences or will a dangerous secret put them both at risk ? 💙 This book is a work of fiction, I don't own Hetalia or any of the characters as both are owned by Hidekaz Himaruya ! All I own is the plot, writing and background characters ^^ 💙 Involves : - BoyxBoy - Mentions of sexual abuse - Mystery - Angst - Violence / Gore / Death - Arguing
